Anton Lake Trout Fishing

Located north of the rest stop at intersection of Highways 16 & 10. Stocked with Rainbow and Brown trout. No motor boats allowed, but you can use electric motors. The limit is 2 fish each and everyone is welcome to come and fish as long as they have a Manitoba fishing license. The Docks are in place so visitors can fish from shore.

Heritage Village Trout Pond


Located by Heritage Village. Stocked in the spring with 8-inch fish. Catch and Release until August 15th – after that you can keep one or two. Same regulations apply as for lake fishing: licensing, etc. Great for children – they don’t need a license.

Minnedosa Game & Fish Association

Minnedosa Game & Fish Association is a local club focused on promoting and enhancing the activities of hunting and fishing in our region. We are affiliated with the Manitoba Wildlife Federation and currently have a membership of over 60 individuals. Our organization actively involves youth in various events, such as our annual Family Fishing Day on Minnedosa lake during the winter, the youth fowl hunt in the fall, and our popular big buck night held in early December. We also sponsor additional projects and events that align with our values within the community.
