Welcome to Manitoba’s Valley Paradise! Minnedosa is a dynamic community of 2500 located two hours west of Winnipeg at the intersection of Highway #10 & #16.

Our beautiful valley and hills, the Little Saskatchewan River and Minnedosa Lake combine to make our community an oasis on the prairie. But Minnedosa is much more than just Manitoba’s Most Beautiful Town! .

Minnedosa has a diversified rural economy with a strong agricultural base. The Minnedosa Chamber of Commerce is proud to have over 100 members representing virtually every economic sector. Many of these businesses export their products and services around the region and, indeed, around the globe. With our production of ethanol and biodiesel, as well as wind energy developments, we are quickly becoming the renewable energy capital of Manitoba! Other businesses are leaders in the manufacturing, export and service industries. Minnedosa is a great place to do business!

Minnedosa is truly a full-service community. We boast a wide variety of retail shops and services, comfortable accommodations and restaurants to suit any taste. Our Main Street is a showcase for our business community, with many historical buildings, parks, and sweeping valley views. The Business Improvement Committee of the Chamber of Commerce has worked closely with the Town of Minnedosa and many local organizations to undertake the beautification of Main Street, with new parks and street-scaping that highlights our local heritage.

Our list of Community assets is long: a modern hospital with a full compliment of physicians and a personal care home; two schools serving grades K-12; a new community conference center; recreation and sport programs; six churches; numerous service clubs and volunteer organizations.

Many people know Minnedosa for our recreational opportunities. Lake Minnedosa offers camping, swimming, boating, water-skiing, walking trails as well as world-class rowing and paddling facilities. Minnedosa is also renowned for our tremendous waterfowl resources, making us a destination for researchers and sport hunters alike. Our beautiful Golf course recently expanded to 18 holes and has a full service pro shop and licensed clubhouse. We also have a skating/hockey rink, a curling rink, bowling lanes, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts and fitness centers, as well as downhill and cross-country skiing.
